No rally would be complete without a variety of activities and with the luxury of an online event we can have activities at most times throughout the weekend, from morning yoga to late night poker. Most activities will be free and you won't even need to book, some may require you to head to a local shop to buy some items from the list on our resources drive.

How to run a National Event
While there may be no event bids we'll be explaining more about how to run a national event, including rallies, balls, regional freshers camps, virtual and special events! There'll be a chance to discuss themes and plans plus maybe you'll meet others also looking to run a national event. Achieving the Scouts of the World Award as part of SSAGO
Chris Worthington from The Scouts is joining us to explain more about how to achieve the Scouts of the World award through SSAGO! Scouts of the World Award (SOWA) is an award that gives you the chance to undertake a project of your choice within the themes of Peace, Environment and Sustainability and take action on your chosen issue. Through your Scouts of the World Award journey, you’ll develop skills and knowledge that will empower you to undertake a project that will make a sustainable impact on your local, national or international community, while developing your personal skills.

Disability Awareness Talk
Throughout this talk, we will cover many different topics starting with the Equality Act 2010 and then examining varying topics over aspects of disability awareness. We will discover both hidden disabilities and shown disabilities. There are varying aspects to this and what we will cover is broad and does not go into heavy detail. There are a few opportunities to discuss how you feel about certain topics, there are no right or wrong answers. We will investigate how you can help and support people with different disabilities. We will consider what equipment people can use to help themselves. At the end of the talk, we will discuss what The Scout Association has within their programme and training (But nothing on Girlguiding – Sorry!!) to help this but we will also discuss how this can be improved.

Dr James Grime presents Alan Turing and the Enigma Machine
Alan Turing was one of our great 20th century mathematicians and a pioneer of computer science. However, he may best be remembered as one of the leading code breakers of Bletchley Park during World War II. It was Turing's brilliant insights and mathematical mind that helped to break Enigma, the apparently unbreakable code used by the German military. We present a history of both Alan Turing and the Enigma, leading up to this fascinating battle of man against machine. Dr James Grime is a mathematician and public speaker. James travels the world giving public talks on the history and mathematics of codes and code-breaking. James is also a presenter of the YouTube channel numberphile.
